Controlling air dampers with cross sections of up to 0.8M², the Belimo LF modulating rotary actuator fail-safe with 4Nm actuating torque is suitable for ventilation and air conditioning systems and for dampers performing protection protocols, such as freezing and smoke detection. Connected with a standard modulating signal of 0 – 10V, this actuator moves the damper to the operating position while tensioning the return spring. The damper is turned back to the fail-safe position by spring force when supply voltage is interrupted.
