This A-Gas 13kg rental cylinder contains R-424A (RS-44), a HFC blend used as a retrofit refrigerant for R-22 in medium and high temperature air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Product Features
- Substitute for R-22, with comparable physical and thermodynamic properties
- Zeotropic refrigerant blend containing R-125, R-134A, isobutane, butane and isopentane
- Must be charged from liquid phase for accurate composition
- Cylinder has dual port valve, making liquid off-take easier
- Non-flammable
- A1 safety classification
- Generally compatible with mineral oil, however conversion to POE oil may be required
- Lower discharge temperatures than R-23
